The 8792 locator will handle all current and voltage standard signals and optionally assemble the fieldbus interface PROFIBUS DPV1 or DeviceNet. The position regulator is equipped with additional diagnostic functions for monitoring valves. The valve diagnostic information about state signals is implemented according to the NE107 (NAMUR) standard and can be recorded as a historical entry. It can be used to monitor the operating conditions of the regulator and, if necessary, to plan maintenance decisions and optimize the availability of equipment.
